GASTON: The egotistical, ultra-masculine, villain determined to marry Belle. He is manipulative yet can also be charming and earnest. Must be physically imposing. Must move/dance well. Male, 25-40 yrs old Range: A2 - E4
LEFOU: Gaston’s bumbling sidekick. He is loyal, energetic, and optimistic, but not quite the brightest guy. Physical humor/prat falls as must for this role. Tumbling/acrobatics a plus. Must be able to move/dance. Male, 25-35 yrs old Range: B2 - F#4
MAURICE: Belle’s loving, eccentric father. A child at heart and inventor in his own world. Male, 55-65 yrs old Range: Bb2 – Db4
COGSWORTH: A tightly-wound, enchanted mantle clock and the head of the Beast’s household. He is uptight, strict, and punctual but also hard-working, faithful, and thorough. Male, 40-55 yrs old Range: A2 - E4
LUMIERE: A suave, debonair, enchanted candelabra. He is a loyal and steadfast servant. Must move well. French accent/dialect necessary.

MADAME DE LA GRANDE BOUCHE: A former opera diva-turned-enchanted wardrobe. She has a caring, refined, larger than life personality. Female, 40-55 yrs old Operatic Soprano. Range: C#4 - D5
CHIP: An enchanted teacup and Mrs. Potts’ darling little boy. He is innocent, playful, and bright-eyed. Male, 7-10 yrs old Strong clear voice. Range: A3 - F5
MONSIEUR D'ARQUE: The scheming proprietor of the local insane asylum. He is a dark, sinister villain who aides Gaston in his plot to marry Belle. Male, 35-55 yrs old Range: D3 - A4
ENSEMBLE: Male and Female Identified (20’s-30’s) Excellent dancers and singers with strong character work; Tumbling, cirque and aerial skills a plus. Will play many characters. Many ensemble tracks will cover principal roles.
